Would like to hear your stance on the legality of the the IRS? Is it legal?
November 1, 2007 - 7:41 pm
Show me the law that requires the average US worker to pay Federal Income Tax. Thank you!

Believe me, they will take your property and levy your bank accounts, law or no law. Ask Willie Nelson.
January 20, 2008 - 5:27 pm
the tax is legal IF you earn taxable income.. >> if not, there are forms which are for the purpose of correcting you made “wages” (federally connected) when in fact you earned nontaxable payments

Hey is income tax on wages even legal?
March 22, 2008 - 2:39 am
there is no law that requires you to pay this tax.
March 22, 2008 - 2:51 am
Don’t put your money on in the bank and pay for your property in gold. If you pay in gold, you don’t get a title or deed, you get a manufacturer’s certificate of ownership that the government does not have a copy of or jurrisdiction over. If you pay with the “federal reserve notes,” you are paying with worthless paper which is backed by nothing.

Important question: Once the monthly payment plan is agreed upon, can I take a second job for more household income without the IRS garnishing those wages?
March 28, 2008 - 8:55 am
No, it’s not! If they can’t SHOW me the law, then I’m not paying.

Hey George, you should have the answer to this one.
Show us the law that states that we have to pay income taxes on our labor???? There isn’t any.
His hair would turn gray before he comes back and tells you, I couldn’t find it.

Section 61 of Internal Revenue Code. Read it, analyze it, read it again, analyze it again, take a cold shower and read and analyze again.
Hope this helps. And if the IRS ever contacts you for non filing, give me a call.
Yours,
George

former irs ? sounds like he still works for those bums, there are a multitude of reasons why most people are not required to pay these taxes, yet the government still tried to bully, intimidate, and harass the American people with their lies…besides, we dont work for them….THEY WORK FOR US… I thought Lincoln said this was a government of the people,by the people and for the people…ps he was also killed because he opposed the bankers; Kennedy likewise was trying to work FOR TEE PEOPLE
September 8, 2008 - 5:59 pm
section 61 does not define, nor does the rest of the 900 pages , the word “income” do the research on what the courts said about that.
September 23, 2008 - 6:54 pm
Ya and its not even thier money, we worked hard for it.
October 17, 2008 - 2:11 am
George, the Internal Revenue Code doesn’t define “income.” The Supreme Court has ruled that income is “gains from corporate activity,” which wages are obviously not.
A law must be constitutional if it is to be legitimate, and the Internal Revenue Code is not. Let’s not forget that forcing us to sign a 1040 violates our 5th Amendment rights.
Unfortunately, the IRS and lower courts IGNORE the Supreme Court rulings and make up their own “laws,” and most people like you buy into the fraud.
October 18, 2008 - 11:54 pm
Why should we have to read it and analyze it and read it again? Why don’t they write the code in a clear language instead of making it deliberately confusing? Why don’t they just say, look people, we’ve been letting this private bank print up piles of paper money and we have borrowed it and now YOU owe them can VOLUNTEER to pay it all back with interest with your back breaking efforts and if you don’t, we will steel everything that you’ve worked for and make your life hell. They borrow,we owe.

Offer of Compromise = Your life belongs to the IRS for 10 years or until the debt is paid.
February 9, 2009 - 9:08 pm
What’s cute is that most people won’t qualify for an Offer in Compromise. They want the administration fee and 20% of your debt upfront. If your debt is large, you probably don’t have that kind of money laying around – so – disqualified. And an OIC is the more expensive way for you to go. And destoyrs your credit.
“Just work out a payment plan”?? Yeah, right. The only way to avoid a lien or garnishment is to let the agent tell YOU what you will send in each month, then you hustle to do it.

Wow..some phenomenally bad advice in the comments, no surprise.
If you want to take the validity of the 16th amendment to the courts, you’ll lose. The golden rule – he who has the gold makes the rules. In the meantime, pay your income taxes and carefully adjust your withholding so as not to lend the government money interest-free.
